I just bought My Passport Wireless Pro 3 TB, everything is good, but when I try to connect it to my PC using USB I can’t see it on my computer
- did you set it up completely as per the instructions?
Do you mean actually on your computer screen or from some other device?
It will not work wirelessly if connected to computer USB so as to be seen by some app on your phone or tablet.
on my computer screen, when I connect it nothing happened, the wifi supposed to stop but it still works, and in my computer folder I can’t see the device
First of all, the MPWP should be powered OFF before connecting it to a PC.
As is the case with ANY external drive, (including the MPWP) when a drive is connected to a PC’s USB port, the drive should show up in the Windows File Explorer utility by its name/drive letter within the Computer category and be accessible by the PC.
If it isn’t, then you need to contact WD Support for assistance.
