My Passport Ultra Drive Not Recognize In My Computer and Recognize in “Computer Management”
To Correct Issue Use WD Drive Utilities " Drive Erase". :
Hello, have you tried connecting the drive to a different computer? Have you tried connecting the drive in a different USB por and with a different USB cable?
Drive New out of box; I reformatted drive form exFAT to NTFS using windows. Drive would only show up in Computer Management Console “ONLY” Had to assigned drive letter every time drive was inserted into a USB Port.
Downloaded WD utilities Drive Erased, which reformatted drive as NTFS: NOW DRIVE shows up in MY COMPUTER with an Assign Drive Letter when plugged into USB PORT “PROBLEM RESOLVED".
