On my desktop, my passport ultra now always shows unlocked, even after restarting computer. If I take it to another computer, then it requires a password as it should, but not on my desktop, like it should, like it used to. How do I reset it to require a [password to open it?

Checkout HELP contents in WD SmartWare. Under Setting tab functions look for Security tab. If there, it describes creating or turning off passwords. If no Security tab, as for my Passport, then sorry, I can’t help.
