My Passport for Mac not recognized on Mac

I have installed software and the drive initially was seen and a partial backup was done on it. However this morning when the Mac was turned on, the drive is not recognized although is on and running. I’m on Mac Os Mojave 10.14.1
The WD software is asking for a login to My Cloud and I don’t have an account. Dose the My Passport for Mac connect with My Cloud?

I have solved my own problem by changing ports on the Mac.

Shouldn’t have done it in the first place. Since Mojave 10.14.1 is a new rollout from Apple, even though you’ve apparently “solved” the problem, it should be reported to Apple Support.
