I just purchased My Cloud after My Book Live bit the dust. My WD TV LIve finds the the cloud, but says “There is no media available for play back.” I know it’s connected to network because it will play content on my PC.
Haven’t used a WDTV Media Player in donkeys years … but from memory
Mine worked fine with a Gen 1 My Cloud
1st Question is … are you using Network Shares or Media Shares (DLNA) on the My Cloud ?
You will need to select the correct content source on your WD TV depending on what you are using (Media Server = Media Shares/DLNA and Network Shares the obvious)
