My cloud stopped working, solid yellow

I am not able even to soft -hard reset.

Is there any solution on this or I should buy a new one ?

Hi,

You could refer to the following link: My Cloud OS 3: Single-Bay (Amber - Yellow - Orange) Power LED and Initializing Device Message

Dear all, it is confirmed the My Cloud device has not completed its boot process, and the led is a solid amber power LED.

I need to retrieve my HD data.

Can you please tell me which program can i use foe windows 10 to retrieve the data?

Is there any option to send you the card of the disk somewhere to fix it?

Disk recovery services are extremely expensive and typically are a 50/50 shot at recovering any data (in my experience).

One can remove (called “shucking”) the hard drive from the My Cloud enclosure and attach it to their computer using a; USB to SATA adapter, a USB docking station, or a spare SATA port on their computer. Plenty of YouTube videos detailing the shucking process. Because the My Cloud hard drive is formatted for Linux one must use a Linux driver on Windows to be able to read the drive contents. Plenty of past discussion on how to do so. One such past discussion:

One can attempt to “unbrick” their My Cloud drive to get it back to working order. Note: Many unbrick methods involve deleting the drive’s contents before restoring the My Cloud firmware to the drive. Backup your data from the drive before attempting one of the various “unbrick” procedures. Use the forum search feature, magnifying glass icon upper right, to find the many past discussions on how to “unbrick” a My Cloud drive.
