My CLoud Not Working After Reset

I forgeot the password fr the admin

I reset it per manual instructions (pin for 4 seconds)

Tried to connect offline (direct ethernet into my laptop) it does not work anymore.

before htis i always accessed it offline (because BT come in on Monday), so have no internet modem to connect to, but it still somehow let me access with a direct ethernet link to my laptop. Was this normal? not normal i put a lot of information on it offline, and was able to transfer between computers.

Will it work on monday if i connect it to a modem?

the led is kind of a blueish white/ purple, i tghink it may be blue but im not sure.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

Hello,

I recommend you try a reset again and/or power cycle. The drive should be accessible if you connect it directly to the computer using a Ethernet cable.

not necessarily. there should be a default IP address, I am not sure what it is but it should be in the manual

your PC needs to be on the same subnet as this, generally this entails using the same number in the 1st 3 positions and a different number in the last

with a router it should supply DHCP addresses to the PC and mycloud although I suggest setting a static IP on the mycloud when you can
