My Cloud Mirror Drops Network Connection

I have a mycloud mirror with 8TB of storage. I am having a problem when attempting to copy large files or many files to it. The connection to it seems to drop–the message in windows is “Cannot copy . The specified network name is no longer available”.

This happens whether on a wired or wireless computer, on windows or mac. Today I attempted to copy some files that said it would take an hour to copy over. At the midway point, with approximately 30 minutes left, the connection dropped. I’ve previously had other network devices on the network that did not do the same. This happens every time. The only solution I have found is to copy only small files.

I am using firmware version 1.05.30. Any help is appreciated.

What have you tried so far other than changing the connection type? Does a static IP configuration help? Do you notice if the device becomes inaccessible or if it reboots during file transfer?
