Hello, I recently purchased a “MY Cloud Home” (WDBVXC) 6TB. I noticed on WD’s website that they are saying certain devices will not support MY Cloud OS 5 next year and those devices will not be able to be accessed remotely anymore. Is my device one of those affected devices? The compatibility chart discussing affected devices says my device is “not applicable.” However, I just want to be absolutely sure as I just bought this product and can return it if this device will not be supported next year.

I think so? TO be honest, I am not that tech-savvy. The software version is stated as 7.15.1-101
So, I think that I don’t need to worry about this, but I am not sure. That is why I am asking in this forum for the more tech-savvy people.
