My_Cloud_EX4100_2.42.115.bin Update Failed

Hi

I have tried many times to update my EX4100 to My_Cloud_EX4100_2.42.115.bin so I can then Update to to OS5 but the update keeps failing.

This place is not what it once was. No one cares anymore. We used to have great support.

There’s no reason for the update not showing update available. I think the reason manual update keep failing is an inside job so we can buy newer My Cloud systems.

Have you done a 40 second reset prior to trying the manual update?

I was successful in doing the reset. I tried to update firmware. It still failed. No code given.

Are the staffs helping or I should abandon this forum?
