My Book Live not working - no response from WD support


I’m not sure what I have done to my MBL (2TB), however, I now have a white (more yellow or very light green) light on the front panel and this constant thumping sound coming from the drive. Both Activity light, which is flashing, and Link light are green. I can’t see the drive in Windows Explorer. I uninstalled WDSmartWare with the intention of reinstalling it but I am stuck as the program cannot find the drive.

I have tried holding down the reset button but nothing happens. I have tried WD’s support but after 5 days they haven’t so much as responded yet. Could anyone please advise me what I should do? I have important data on there that I need.
