My Book Live 2TB visible on MY CLOUD web site - can’t access
The status light stopped working after about 16 months, but the drive was fine, used just for backup & storage.
Then I got a 2nd My Cloud 3TB and looked to use it more for Video & Data, it works fine. Direct access over the network or My Cloud web site.
The My Book Live can be seen on the My Cloud Web site, both WD are shown in a list in the upper left hand corner, but the My Book Live shows “offline” It can’t be accessed through the Network or the My Cloud web site.
Both are connected to a D-link 1GB switch with other devices, including my Acer Laptop running Win 10 Home.
I went in WD FAQ & held down the reset button for 5 full seconds, waited 30 min, no change. Unplugged it for an hour, reconnected, waited 30 min, no change
The Ethernet status light stays green, the activity light blinks slowly & quickly in random fashion.
Is there anything else to try, or is it time to toss this 4 yr old drive?

You can try to perform 4 second reset on the My Book Live and check if the issue still persist.
