I’m trying to set up my new My Book Duo via the downloaded software. It gives me a message about loosing internet connectivity (which I don’t), and when it scans to ‘make sure everything’s working’, it says there seems to be a problem, and that I may not be able to configure my device. I am able to access the drive via the web interface, so it is working. I’m flipping it to RAID 1 right now.
Why would the software not work? Is there even anything special about the software that I need it for, vs the web interface?
