My 2 x 6 T Ex 2 is indexing for 6 x 24 hours

After upgrade to OS5 my Ex 2 started indexing. It is doing it for already 6 days with fan at 10000 continuously !
Is this normal ???

Don’t know. This subforum (My Cloud) generally discusses the single bay single drive My Cloud unit which is not supported by OS5. See the EX Series subforum in the OS5 section.

However. . . for OS/5, it is normal.
Indexing is a very, very lengthy process that runs on any share that has cloud access. I hear they have improved the “efficiency” of the process in the most current firmware releases.
