Moving drives to new NAS

I have a MY Cloud EX2. The 2 4tb RED drives are in a RAID-1/ I was wondering if i can move the drives to another NAS and still keep the RAID configuration or will all the data + config be lost if it’s not on the same WD controller?
There was a fire in my house and i doubt the controller will work. Now i’m trying to figure out what my options are.
