Mixing 6TB drive with an 8TB drive on an older MY Cloud EX 4100

I have an older MY Cloud EX 4100 with a single 6TB WD Red 6TB NAS Hard Disk Drive

I wish to add a second drive. I can not get a new 6TB drive. My next step is 8TB.

Can I mix drives of different sizes, in a non-raid environment?

Yes, you can use two different capacity drives in a Non-raid environment.

Also, if you want to use them in RAID environment you can go with JBOD configuration.
