I am using an My Cloud EX4 NAS with 4 x 3TB of wd RED drive. What i want to know is can i upgrade my RED drive using a 6 TB of RED drive if one 3 TB drive failed.

You should be able to place the a 6TB drive to replace the 3TB with no problems, however i would like to know what type of RAID you are use on the device.
