Missed again... New version kill ssh user/password

I do not know who is the Quality Manager for the MyCloud software…

Last big update was a major failure and two days of working at the office.

Now, the latest upgrade does not allow to access the SSH service with the “standard” root/welc0me.

Is it possible form WD to produce good quality upgrade or do we have to check the quality by ourselves ?

I cannot understand how they can be so… Pffff…

One of the earlier firmware versions changed the SSH protocol so one had to change the password after their first logging into SSH (at least I had to on my My Cloud) with the default root/welc0me. Is it possible you changed the SSH password previously and that is why “welc0me” no longer works?

Yes, you are right.

Tried few usual password and now it’s working.

But when enabling ssh on tue web interface, the message said '“use root/welc0me”…

Sorry WD gyus…
