Malfunction of HDD in slot 2 but no disk in slot 2

Maybe one of you has an idea what to do or how to solve the following problem.

When setting up the EX2100 (with only one drive at the start) an error message appears after a while.
The message is “disk failure. Description: the hdd failure in slot 2. Replace hdd. Contact HDD support. Severity: critical. Errorcode: 0201”
Maybe the message is not posted perfectly because I had to translate it from German.

Looks like a classical drive failure BUT there is no drive in slot 2

Reset has been made, message appears again after a few hours or days. Slot is closed correctly. Don’t have a clue how this could happen and how to fix it.

You can use one disk in a JBOD configuration.
Perhaps try performing a reset through the back of the unit.

I have the same problem megaheld…
I have a red led on for the slot 2 in the front panel of then…but that’s empty.
I’m using on disk in a JBOD config.
Anyone knows how to fix this?
