After update to FW 1.05.21 slot 1 don't work anymore

I’m new here and have the first question:

I have since 3 days the WD My Cloud EX4 without drives. I installed 1x 1,5 TB harddrive into slot 1. Everythink works fine.

Yesterday i made a update to FW 1.05.21, after update the system the HD and system LED’s are flashing red. I put the 1,5 TB disk into slot 2 an everything work.

Did everyone know this problem? Why will it only works when the harddrive is into slot 2 and not 1? I used JOBD for RAID.

Welcome to the WD Community,

After the update, did you tried resetting the drive so the update will start fresh? if not, please try that since I havent seen this case before.

Will i lost my data on thr harddisk when i reset the system?

upgraded to 1.05.21 and after restart I can’t access the dsashboard from any web browser

but

if I ping the ip address it does reply

if I browse the foldera I can see them

how di I restore the ability to see the dasboard and get back control?
