Locked out of my cloud

Had PC issues this summer, replaced power supply, NBD. When powering back up discovered the ethernet cable to “MyCloud” was disconnected. Only found after the thing came up flashing red. So, reconnected the cable, plugged in the power to the MC, it started up fine, blinking blue, then steady blue. I had the email (now about 6 weeks old) about new software, so I figured I’d get that downloaded. hahahahahaahhaha. Locked out of MC! It’s visible on the network, I can connect to it. I get a log in that says “Admin” and wants a password. Can’t find it, don’t remember it, all the ones tucked in my memory don’t work. Now What??? Anybody have similar? Anybody have a default PW I could try??? Ideas???

thanks

Perform a 4 second reset (via the reset button on the back of the My Cloud). It will reset the Admin password to the default (empty/blank). See the following WD Support article for more information on how to reset the single bay/single drive My Cloud.

THANK YOU!! A nice easy to understand complete answer that actually solved my problem. Again, Thank YOU!
