Local WD Sync is automatically synced to Public folder

I am connected to My Cloud witho two computers, with two user accounts.

WD Sync was working normally with local sync folder, but without any reason known to me, those folders were automatically synced to Public folder??? Those folders are named WDSync-user1 and WDSync 2.

I don’t see reason for these, and this is very dangerous. I’ve tried to delete those folders, but they were recreated automatically.

You can try to recreate the folders to the specific destination that you want.

I haven’t seen a case like this one that hte software changes the location of the destination by itself.

As an aside… I THINK this lets USER2 see USER1’s files, even if he does not have permissions to do so.  in other words, it violates the shares security settings.  Someone would have to test that theory though…
