iTunes server config

Hello,

I can’t use the server function on my ex2.

I copy all my music (a lot of !) on shared music. I put on “on” the itunes server, but the scan is fast and nothing happens.

In itunes, I see the WD Cloud but with no music !

So some questions :

• Should I copy the music at the root of “shared music” (I do, one folder for each album) or should I copy all the itunes folder ?

• Could I copy all this music in an other folder than “shared music” for itunes server if I don’t want my music to be access by everyone ?

• Should I activated DNLA server to make itunes server work ? (DNLA can’t see all my music too)

Hi there, You should be able to put music on any share as long as media server is enabled. My advise is to make sure that media server is on on the shares that you have your music on regardless of public which also can be used for iTunes server.

Try to  create a share and enable media serving and see if the iTunes server can scan and see the files.
