I have a 4TB My cloud home and having problems uploading all photos selected to a new album. For example I select 255 photos on IPhone 16 Pro Max and only 175 download? I have tried to download in batches but the same problem exists, select 125 photos and only 55 download? CN you help?
Install WD Discovery / My Cloud Home app on your computer. Connect your iPhone via cable > import photos to the computer. Drag them to your My Cloud Home folder
I’ve seen this happen a lot with My Cloud Home and iPhones. Usually, it’s because your iPhone isn’t storing the full-resolution photos locally - it keeps some in iCloud. When you try to upload a big batch, the app can’t grab the originals, so only part of the photos make it. Also, the My Cloud Home app struggles with large transfers, and iOS can pause uploads if the app goes into the background. The easiest fixes are: make sure Download and Keep Originals is on in iCloud Photos, upload smaller batches (30–50 at a time), keep the app open, or use the desktop/web interface to transfer everything reliably.
