I just bought a new My Cloud. Once i already set it up it seem to work just fine when i use my local wifi which is connected to My Cloud. But there’s a problem that i can’t reach the device when I try to connect my cloud with 3G pr another wifi. Really appreciate ur help
You need to download an app to smartphones etc or send an external link to an e-mail address for use by remote computers.Once the link is used and the password you have set for the drive is used you should get access That address has to have a login and password to WD2go to give access rights and you should be able to access the drive from any location by logging in.
In the dashboard under Settings>General did you turn Cloud Access On? Then under the Cloud Access tab check and see if the device is there for access. If not you have to set it up and as stated in the post prior to mine you will need the apps on the phone.
