HELP - suddenly mycloud device wont connect with Mac

Hi, been using for last years with no issues, i havent changed anything since and only stumbled across issues today… appears for some reason my wd software on my mac cannot see my mycloud device connected to my sky router. this as said, has been the same set-up since forever. I looked on the device and the router. both have the flashing green and yellow lights, the mycloud has the solid blue light at the front. i even changed the ethernet cable earlier to see if that makes a difference. for about 20 mins it worked and then lost again. I have no idea what to do (technical numpty!) Strangely though, if i take a pic on my iphone, this will be uploaded to the mycloud (can see it on the app) and this is in effect using the same sky broadband connection but obviously wifi not hard plugged - what am i doing wrong, what can i check… is driving me insane not being able to fix it. I managed to get some analysis earlier saying the device was healthy and everything, i then changed the ethernet as it said no connection and then that packed up and i cant even get back to that diagnostics page??? PLEASE HELP!!!
