Help! MY Book Live Duo

Hi All,

Has anyone else had the problem of not being able to access their NAS through network shares - According to WD Support -

Your product is no longer compatible with Windows 10. As you can discover by following this article My Book Live & My Book Live Duo: Supported Operating Systems, your product is compatible with Windows versions up to Windows 8, since Microsoft released updates for the newer versions of operating system recently that cause incompatibility issues with the specific devices.

Although I’ve been using windows 10 for the a couple of years and not had any problems.Only in the last month I have not been able to access my drive through any of my PC’s running WIN10? If anyone else is having the same issue I would like to know how you have resolved it?

Thanks

Yes, I’m here researching the same problem. What’s going on is if you updated Win10 to the Fall Creators edition, that turned off some file-sharing services because some of the latest ransomware was taking advantage of them not being so secure. See this article and see if it helps … it did not for me unfortunately: https://blog.techygeekshome.info/2017/10/windows-10-fall-creators-update-cannot-access-network-shares-fix/
