HELP! I am locked out of my My Book!

Hi,

I failed attempts with my password on my My Book, it came up with an error message saying to try again I need to unplug, switch it off and on again and plug back in. I have done this twice and it just keeps showing the same error message with nowhere to put my password in? Any help with this I would be ever so grateful! 

I can’t afford to lose all this data since my Mac has been having issues and my other MyBook not backing up.
