Has anyone tried replacing the hard drive from the old my cloud home to the new my cloud home?

Hi everybody. has anyone tried replacing the hard drive from the old my cloud home to the new my cloud home? Will it run like normal after replacing it? I’m just afraid that after replacing it, it will format the old drive. data will be lost.

Are you saying you own an old My Cloud Home and want to put its hard drive in a new My Cloud Home that you have? Didn’t the new My Cloud Home come with disk? Is it a My Cloud Home Duo?
