Forgot password for EX4

I CREATED A PASSWORD DURING SETUP, THEN DID A FIRMWARE UPDATE. NOW PASSWORD DOES NOT LET ME INTO THE DASHBOARD. I’VE BEEN FOLLOWING THE BLOGS EVEN THE WD SITE. ALL SAY TO PUSH THE RESET BUTTON ON THE BACK ON THE EX4. THIS DOES NOT WORK. DOES ANYONE HAVE THE TRUE ANSWER TO THIS?  I APPRECIATE YOUR ASSISTANCE. THANK YOU

For how long did you press the reset button on the back of the unit? And what message do you get when you go to the dashboard after resetting.

Hi, I have the same problem, did you ever get an answer? What can you do with the password you can’t do as a guest?
