I forgot the password for my EX4100 so I tried to use the 40 second reset. I turned off the unit, pulled the power, then held the reset button for 40 seconds. When I tried to access the dashboard, I get the incorrect password error message. The local ip address didn’t change. Did I miss something?
SUCCESS! After installing a fourth drive - WD Red 4TB - I restated the EX4100 & I pressed the reset button. 5 - 6 minutes later all was right in the world.
