Folder on desktop

I have a folder on my desktop that has been backed up to My Cloud.

If I add files or a folder to that folder it never gets backed up.

Does the MC software not see new data in an existing folder?

I’d hate to have to make a new folder every time I want to add a file.

What are using to back up the desktop folder to the mycloud. How do you know the new files are not being backed up?

SmartWare.

I’ll use the My Cloud app on my Android phone to check.

Did you setup a schedule in SmartWare to do a backup? (i.e. hourly, daily, or monthly)

Backup is set to continuous.

Appears to be working correctly now.

I drop a file in a folder on my desktop and it gets updated

to My Cloud right away.
