Failing G-TECH G-SAFE (Gen4)

Aloha all!
I’ve got a G-Safe 3 TB that is the music drive for our online radio station. It’s been in constant service since, I believe, 2011. The LCD screen on the front has been useless for years, but the drive hasn’t ever hiccuped… until recently.

Now, it spontaneously unmounts every few hours. The only way to get it back is to cycle power.

Is this recoverable? Or just early warnings of a soon-to-end life?

I can honestly say that it never occurred to me to file a service request on a 12-year-old hard drive!

I am trying, but the form won’t let me proceed. It keeps saying “invalid phone number.” I’ve tried my home phone, office phone, and cell. I’ve tried with punctuation and without. I’ve tried with and without the leading 1. I’ve even tried it with country code.
