i have a 2TB external hard drive, it was working perfect with my windows laptop, until i switched to MAC it was also working (no issues), when i switched back to windows it wont work (USB Device not recognized), however when i attached it to mac again it worked . but not with windows anymore.
the problem now that, i sold my mac and just using windows but not able to access my data on HDD.

any help will be appreciated

If you had formatted your hard drive on your Mac you will have a problem on any Windows-based system since the Mac-optimized HFS+ file system is incompatible with Windows.

You could try a program that allows for Windows to read HFS+ partitions though.

the problem is my windows pc doesn’t see (recognise) the HDD, noway to access, i have the data but need to be able to use it freely again,

is there a way to format it
