I have an external hard disk (WD1000eb035-01) that I tried to connect to my WINDOWS 8 pc, but it’s not recognised. I used to use it with my macbook. Is there any chance to see my files?

Hi, if you had this hard drive formatted for Mac (HFS+), Windows computers wont be able to read the files natively, to use it on a Windows PC, you can format it (deletes all your files) or using a third party program to read the files. Using Google you should be able to find several options. For the steps to format the hard drive, check the following link.
