I purchased 4 easy store 8 TB external drives. One currently works. Another initially work and now fails to be recognized by my MacBook Pro and Windows 10 laptop. The other two drives I can format using the WD Drive Utilities on the Windows laptop or format using Explorer, however, they will not mount on Mac (formatting the ExFat). There are two drives showing - the renamed/reformatted and then another partition (I assume) named disk2s1. Any advice on how to reformat them to be usable on both? The one drive that has failed, I will be sending to WD for replacement since still under warranty. Wondering if the other two drives need to be replaced as well.
