Hi i have a question i just get a new imac with the 10gb Ethernet connection, i want to know if i can connect the WD My Cloud PR4100 directly to the ethernet of the imac and if it would help
Your NAS only has a gigabit and a 10/100 connection, provided the router or switch can support the gigabit option, connecting it directly to your iMac would not make a difference in terms of transfer speed most likely.
