been trying to contact WD customer support by the phone for last hour - nobody answers.
Email option doesnt allow to register for some reason - it just says “registration unsuccesful” and does not give any reason of why it was unsuccesful - repeated several times, always same outcome.
So, it seeems it im stuck with faulty item and customer support does not exist.
Looks like I will need to get a refund through VISA claim back and switch to working gear from Synology.
