My EX2 Ultra didn’t come up after a reboot. Firmware up-to-date, no errors reported. It’s just stuck with the activity light blinking like crazy–for hours and hours. Went through all recommended resets and analytical tricks. Swapped network ports and power supplies. But it’s not even asking my router for an IP address.
So 5 days ago I started a case with customer support. Got the automatic reply and can see the ticket listed in my support area. But not a peep out of a human. I seem to remember when WD would reply a little more rapidly. In the meantime I’ve got a 16TB NAS sitting there doing absolutely nothing.
Is this what’s become of WD support?
