Dlna and usb harddrives are visible on everyone?

when dlna media server is on, all usb external harddrives (for example for backups) are shown for everyone in the same local network.

when there is a share which is only visible for user X on dl2100, they are suddenly visible for everyone in the current network when the share is backuped to the external usb drive.

how come? that shouldnt be like that.

  1. please, add the possibility to turn off dlna access to usb drives and only for certain users.

  2. dl2100 keeps usb harddrives on all the time and prevents them to go sleeping.

Hi there,

This is a good suggestion you could post on the ideas boards, here is a link the the ideas board so you can post this a a suggestion:

Turn off media sharing for each network share. Set a admin password on Twonky which will prevent the core WD firmware from messing with Twonky’s settings and then within Twonky define exactly what directories you wish to be shared to media players.
