I have DL4100. It supports USB connected UPS Backup solutions. When plugged in under “USB” it shows the battery percent remaining. However, actions and such are unconfigurable. Example I would like to configure the NAS to shutdown at X percent, or shut off after on UPS power for x minutes. Am I missing something, or are these options not configurable? I have PowerChute and CyberPower’s equivilent software installed on a bunch of systems which i set some to shut down after more than 5 minutes on UPS power for non critical systems, and others to shut down once 5% battery remains to ensure clean shutsdowns for critical hardware.
Also, there doesn’t appear to be any real documentation on the UPS feature under Settings > Network > Network UPS. Just master or slave mode. This suggests some sort of communication with other devices, or software, but nothing is really detailed in any manuals or anything about this. Does anyone have any insight into this? Thank you.
