Could not access disk, could not set RAID configuration, could not turn WD off

Hi guys,

I have problem with my new WD Sharespace 4TB. After purchasing it, I change RAID configuration to RAID 0 from the default RAID 5. It worked at the first time, but later it’s diffficult to access the disk, sometimes connected to LAN and sometimes not. Then I tried to set it back to RAID 5, but always failed. I reset the sytem by pressing reset button at back of the system. After 2 or 3 days, it was still in progress. From log file I found that the system was always restarting and reconfigure to RAID 5. I turn it off by plug out power cable. I could not turn it off by pressing power button at front, I don’t know why. Once I was able to connect to the system, I change it to factory default configuration. But, still, it keep running and not yet finish for a long time. Any suggestion why this happen? Thanks in advance.

That does indeed sound odd. Could you post a copy of your log (at least the relevant part of it) so I can see whats occuring?
