the copy USB function in the my home software is greyed out so can’t copy from an old drive
I have already used this function so whats gone wrong?
@Aliwest Are you able to provide an image of what you are seeing. I’m not sure of what you are trying to do on a WD My Cloud.
Have you looked at the User Manual for your generation of My Cloud? See Chapter 12 in both the 1st and 2nd generation User Manual for connecting a USB device.

I’ve attached a screen shot of the My Home home screen which shows add files do more and copy USB buttons and the USB copy button is greyed out.
When I plug in a USB drive nothing happens yet when I first got the device (less than a week ago) I plugged in a hard drive to copy files form

You may want to see and post in the dedicated My Cloud Home subforum since the My Cloud Home is a completely different device with different options and features than the My Cloud.
