Continuous backup of 2 additional drives on source computer

Have installed Smartware on source computer which has two additional hard drive F and G. I need to backup both hard drives continously to my cloud. How should I setup it up?

I only see to select one drive option either F or G.

Also how can I browse these files on cloud and on physical WD drive?

Thanks for help.

Hello and welcome to the WD community.

Try to schedule a backup for each drive on the computer, to see if this way it can work?

Did quick restored and started backup of first drive. I have large size directories where files are stored in each date folder. I noticed that it wasn’t backing up current days file rather copied all previous day of files.

When I open smartware to setup new drive for backup, I see that it is no longer lising the WD drive but just Dropbox. I’ve set fixed IP to WD mac address and also setup Static IP to the drive. Also able to acccess drive from computer (windows explorer) or http://wdmycloud. I even didn’t setup the password so drive is directly accessible over network.

Other notable point is that I’ve attached WD Drive to a 5 port hub/switch which is connected to wireless router. I hope that doesn’t make any difference.

For 15 days I’m struggling to setup this drive.

OS: Windows Embedded Standard SP1 64bit

Product: WD Smartware Pro 2.4.12

WD Quick view is installed and shows in tray but it doesn’t look like doing anything. Clicking on it doesn’t respond at all.

Hi, try connecting the drive directly to the router instead of the switch and also attempt to connect it directly to the computer. This is just to make sure that theres nothing wrong with the network.
