Once the My Cloud has been initially configured one can access the My Cloud using Windows File Explorer or Mac Finder. One should further read the My Cloud User Manual or see additional help topics in the links above or within the Dashboard Help on how to further configure the My Cloud beyond the basic setup and how to use remote access.
If a Share has the Dashboard Share option Public Access set to ON then it will be accessible to anyone who can access the My Cloud. When one sets the Public Access option to OFF one can then select the permission level for each Dashboard created User (No Access, Read Only, Full Access).
Generally the Share name even when set to Private will still be visible/listed when a “guest” accesses the My Cloud using Mac Finder or Windows File Explorer (or via other access methods). However that “guest” will not be able to actually access that Private Share. When they attempt to access a Private Share they should be prompted for a user name and password.
FYI the pictures you posted didn’t display on my end due to being in TIFF format, generally its best to use JPG, GIF or PNG when posting images.
