Connection Problem? Need Help

So about a week ago my WD My Cloud stopped showing up as one of the networks on my computer. That was the only way I accessed my files on my hard drive and so since it won’t connect as a network, I have no access to my files and my iTunes library has become messed up because of that.

I checked the hard drive online and I often get statuses saying that it “isn’t streaming” or is “idle”. I have tried unplugging my hard drive and plugging it back in, but that hasn’t worked, and I don’t know what else I can do. I didn’t do anything to the hard drive that might have made it not work, so I don’t understand what the problem is.

Has anyone had this problem or might anyone know how to fix this? I hope I explained it well enough.

Do you remember whether you had assigneed a static ip for MC?

if not there’s a possibility that the ip addresses have changed on your network. 

What type of computer are you using?

I don’t think I ever assigned an IP address to MC. I use an Acer with Windows 8. How would I find out about the IP address?
