I can access mybook live and the shares i have created on my windows 7 laptop via wifi. I want to be able to access these same shares via my xp desktop but I’m unable to see them or map to them. My destop is connected to the router and I can see the MBL but none of the shared show. Any ideas ?
Not even the public share?
What happens when you connect to the MBL?
are both computers on the same workgroup? and did you set the new shares you made as public shares when you created them?
I found a solution.
Upgrade to Windows 7 or 8 and you’ll see all the shares and be able to access them no dramas. I think windows xp is now way past it’s prime.
