I’m a new user for My Book Live. I dragged My Documents from the compter to My Book, then moved docs and stuff to the Private Share, while leaving music, etc in Public. I can see and access my public shares on the network drive, but not the private shares. I’ve tried making the XP User Account and My Book User Account the same name, but still not luck. Help and thanks

As far as I know Windows XP has problems when mapping both private and public shares…
What if you unmap/disconnect the public shares and see if it gives you access to the private ones?
Do you get an error message like: … Multiple connections to a server or shared resource by the same user … not allowed…
