I have a MAC and when I go to Connect to Server and put in the IP of the drive, it sees it and pulls up a list of folders. I can access the Public folder but not the folder I have shared with the Windows users. The MAC doesn’t prompt for credentials, it just says it cannot connect to the folder. Also, there is no username to get on the MAC, but there is a password. I am confused how to get the MAC to access the shared folder.
Hi, when you connect to the public folder on the drive, you will be able to see on the top right something that says “Connect As…” This will prompt you for a user name and password to connect as a registered user for the My Cloud and should allow you to connect to shares that you have access for once you input the credentials.
