Hi, I’m working for a small company and we got the ‘WD My Cloud EX2 Ultra Network Attached Storage’ with the newest farmwear. everything works fine, other than it not showing in ‘network’ under ‘Computer’. however if we lookup “\\devicename” it shows up with all the shares and everything so we thought nothing of it at the time.
But now we want to download some stuff automatically from are server we are using and to do that I need the My Cloud device to show up in my network options. other wise the path to the backups share wont be a valid path according to WinSCP witch is the program I’m using.
so my question is why is my My Cloud not showing up in ‘network’ ‘Computers’ when it is connected and working on the network.
I’m using Win11
